She wasn't even supposed to be in Johnny's neighborhood tonight. They had plans for later in the week and Johnny had said he was moving his stuff out of Sids place and into an apartment he was sharing with a couple of the Cobras during college. But Gwen really couldn't sit still in her own apartment. Her skin was crawling, and she had that feeling that she had somewhere she needed to be, but pinpointing exactly where took a little bit.

Soon enough, however, she found where she was meant to be.

She followed her spider sense, dressed as Ghost Spider and bouncing from rooftop to rooftop until, somehow, she found herself standing on a rooftop across the street from Johnny's stepdads mansion.

At first, working out why she was there wasn't apparent right away. It never really is. But then, a loud, shattering sound (well, loud to her) catches her ears, and then all of the lights in the house go off. All of them at once, letting Gwen know someone cut the power to the house.

And then a shout from inside the house.

"Johnny," she says to herself, knowing that voice anywhere. That's when Ghost Spider moves, leaping off the rooftop and running across the street to Sids, The front door is broken open which works for her. It makes it easier to get into the house, and the sound of a fight makes it easy for Gwen to track the several masked people that are fighting with Johnny.

It takes her a second to take out the first one, dropping from the ceiling on a web-line and picking them up, throwing them into a wall before moving to the second. By this point, she's been noticed. But that's fine, at least they're leaving Johnny alone.

She just has to find a way to do this without revealing herself to the crooks. She's sure after a while her boyfriend will figure out who she is.

Johnny was still packing things up in his room. Thankful that his mom and Sid were out for the evening, he really wanted to do this on his own. His mother wasn't needed, and he really didn't want another argument with Sid again he still had his bruises from the other fight he had two nights ago. It was something he couldn't wait to get far away from. He wouldn't even visit unless his mother asked him. Thankfully he had Gwen and his friends to keep him mentally sane from this.

Suddenly the power went off. That startled him and he went to look out the window, their wasn't a storm so something must have happened to the power. That was when he was jumped on, thankfully these idiotic people didn't know he was a karate expert. However.. he wasn't expecting their to be so many of them and that was when he saw someone else enter his home. Was this the ring leader?

He was still fighting the others. Though they had weapons which were used on him but he was fighting through the pain. Finally he saw the one that came into his home in a costume, whoever it was the criminals decided to attack them now. He wondered why these people were attacking Sid's home, half of him wanted the place to get robbed. He ducked when someone tried attacking him again. "I think we got them all." He said to the heroic stranger and he needed to go downstairs to turn the power back on.

Gwen and Ghost-Spider, while the same person, had two very distinctly different fighting styles. While Gwen had to pretend to be a basic, baseline human with ballet training, Ghost-Spider didn't. That part of Gwens life could move as she needed to, bending backwards to unnatural degrees to avoid being stabbed or swinging fists and aiming kicks at faster-than-average speeds. There was also the matter of her sticking to walls and jumping from one to the other, all to keep the would-be robbers moving and away from her boyfriend. She also seemed to know just when to dodge an attack from behind, using her Spider-Sense and the bad guys own idiocy to make them beat each other up a bit.

That doesn't mean she dodges every attack. That's just not entirely possible. There's the occasional hit from a fist, one guy gets his arm around her neck for a moment, but Ghost Spider runs up a wall and pushes off, slamming them into a marble bust and knocking them out cold.

Once she was sure all of the guys were out, Gwen...well, she removes her mask. She's a bit bruised from the fight, and there are some slash marks and blood on her suit, but if anyone were to look, those injuries were already mostly healed.

"Yeah, I think so, too," Gwen says, inhaling slowly and shakily. "You should call the cops when you get the power back on."

And now she just waits for her boyfriend to notice who exactly the Big Damn Hero in the Ghost-Spider attire was. And...pray he doesn't get freaked out and break up with her.

Johnny was in a bit of pain which wasn't good. Where else did he get hit that he wasn't aware of? He just hoped that he wasn't too badly wounded with a stab wound or something but he'd have to check that later. First, he really needed to get the lights back on and for that he had to go to the basement. However.. he really needed to chat with the hero that helped saved him from a home invasion which he was really thankful for.

Hearing the girl's voice he thought she sounded really familiar. Where had he heard that voice before? Then, he turned to look at the girl and almost fainted. "Gwen?" He asked cautiously and he wasn't pissed off and or freaked out he was really impressed by what she was doing. He was curious as to why she never told him before and he found out this way.

He ran over to her. Now he had to make sure he was okay because he was a good boyfriend. "You alright.. did they hurt you at all? I mean.. you have amazing moves so I don't think they did." He still looked her over though making sure she didn't have any marks on her.

The fact that he wasn't upset by this was throwing Gwen off some and the fact that he was checking on her was also enough to stun the usually chatty girl into silence. One hand still gripped the mask she'd pulled off, and she watched him check her over for a moment or two before speaking, stuttering out a reply.

"I-I'm fine, Johnny. Any injury I have now will be gone by morning. Are you okay? You really should call the police." With the would-be robbers out cold, it would be an easy arrest. Gwen turns to look at the brazen men and sighs, shaking her head a bit.

"They've been breaking into homes all through this neighborhood for months. Looks like they finally chose the wrong house."

And thank God Gwen was here.

"I can't be wearing this when the police show up. Do you have a t-shirt I can borrow?" She's not about to leave Johnny by himself, here, but the police think Ghost Spider is a no-good vigilante and would arrest Gwen right away if they saw her in her hero attire. So she has to change. Go for something more subtle.

"...this really isn't upsetting you?" Finding out ones girlfriend was the masked hero that was all over the news on occasion really didn't have the effect Gwen was expecting. And this was the second time she'd been through this.

Was he supposed to be upset? His girlfriend just helped saved his life.. he wasn't upset by that at all. In fact he was relieved. Yeah, he knew karate pretty well but he didn't think he could actually take on all those armed men alone. He'd probably be dead by now if she didn't show up.

"Super healing as well? That's pretty cool." He wished his injuries would be gone by morning but he was holding his side as he walked downstairs to the basement and turned the power back on. Thankfully that worked and as he walked back upstairs he winced and dialed the police. He told them about the break in and then his address and then hung up the phone. Maybe he was still in shock.

"I've been hearing of the break in's. They probably thought nobody was home but they were wrong and yeah they broke into the wrong house." He fought them as best as he could until Gwen showed up and then as a team they took them out together.

He nodded, understanding and walked slowly passed the men and to his room grabbing her a shirt he handed it to her. "Why would it upset me? You saved my life back there. I wouldn't be standing right now if it wasn't for you. Johnny loved Gwen and yeah he was worried of her getting hurt, but she seemed alright but he'd double check on her anyways.

"We have a lot to talk about," Gwen says, finally very carefully hugging Johnny, burying her face against his shoulder for a moment. It was going to take a bit before Gwen settled into the idea that he was accepting of all of this. But Gwen was still wary, still unsure of how he was really handling this all. She pulled back enough to look at him, carefully running her fingers through his hair and kissing him briefly.

She loved him, too. She wasn't ready to say it. Not by a long-shot. She'd loved Daniel, too, and look how that turned out. He ran to Terry Silver's New and Improved Cobra Kai, turned into an asshole. There might be some baggage and uncertainty carried by Gwen in regards to expressing how she feels.

"I'm going to get changed. If they ask how you managed to fend them off, you can tell them Ghost Spider was here, but then they left as soon as the last guy was unconscious. I'm not here. I never was. I'll get changed and hide on the roof until they're gone. Okay?"

She has to go to some ridiculous lengths to keep people from learning who she is, and she feels awful for asking Johnny to lie. Maybe that'll be what he gets upset about?

Oh, this was the pits.

Kissing Johnny again, she gives him an apologetic smile before running to his room to get changed. Hiding her hero suit in the ceiling, she's quick to get out the back door of the house and climbs to the roof, just barely making it as the police roll up. Now to wait for Johnny to give her the all clear so she can come back down.

"We do have a lot to talk about.. you're right." He also needed to check out his wounds he seemed to be in a lot of pain still. This wasn't good at all. Which is probably why he wasn't really processing what was actually happening. His girlfriend was the Ghost Spider, police didn't seem to like her at all which he never really understood. She was helping others, what was bad about that? He kissed her back and smiled during the kiss as she ran her fingers through his hair.

He wasn't ready to say those three words to her yet. He did have very strong feelings for her though and he knew it was love, he was just afraid. Afraid of getting rejected again. "Okay. Hopefully they'll leave soon." He didn't like lying to police officers but he didn't want Gwen to get arrested, he had the money to bail her out but he would never want her behind bars for saving his life.

He kissed her back and he could finally hear the police sirens coming down his street. Hopefully they had enough cars for all these thugs.

She really should have checked that injury and debates heading back in, but the police pull up before she can move. She's still safely hidden on the roof, listening as best as she can to the situation before getting up and moving carefully, quietly hopping from roof to roof until she can drop down near a bus stop. She did just see a bus roll by and it gave her an idea.

She couldn't wait on the roof. She had to know what was going on. If her boyfriend was okay. It felt shitty to just wait things out. What if he had to go to the hospital?

So, with his t-shirt on and half her Ghost Spider suit well hidden in the ceiling of his bedroom, Gwen walking down the street looked like any other girl heading to visit her boyfriend. She doesn't get much of a glance right away, just enough where a police officer carefully stops her.

"No. Wait, that's my boyfriends house. Is he okay?" Gwen asks, careful to sound just the right amount of frantic. "Please, officer, you have to let me see him."

Somehow, this works. The officer is young enough where Gwen's worry tugs at him some, and he waves her in while shouting to his coworkers that Johnny's girlfriend is coming up the steps.

Another officer asks where she came from, and Gwen points down the street at the nearest bus stop just a few blocks away. "I was coming to help him pack." Gwen states and with the packed boxes in the hallway, it's easy enough to believe.

Turning to look at Johnny, she heads over. "Let me see," she asks, carefully reaching for the hand covering the injury.

The police were grilling him left and right it seems. He told them again about Spider Ghost helping him take out the would be robbers.. and left when the last one was knocked out. He managed it until they arrived after turning the lights back on of course. He was thankful they didn't cause too much damage to the house and he didn't think anything was stolen.

Hearing Gwen's voice he was relieved. He had really missed her when she had to leave for that short amount of time. "Yeah she's helping me pack. I've been trying to move to a friend's house. But, you know how packing can be." he laughed a bit hoping the cops would just let Gwen inside. It was his girlfriend after all, he wanted her there with him.

He tried shaking his head, afraid to actually move his hand but he did anyways and slowly. The blood was oozing from the wound, no wonder why he was in pain at the moment and a bit on the weak side.

The look she gives him for shaking his head could probably peel paint. It's irritated and worried and a bit angry, but move his hand he does and she winces, looking at him apologetically. Not that it's her fault he got hurt, but if she'd paid more attention...or moved faster...something. He wouldn't be hurt.

So, it may not be her fault, but she's going to blame herself.

Before she can say anything, one of the cops calls an ambulance for Johnny, insisting he go to the hospital to get it checked out.

"That's a good idea, Johnny. And I'll be with you the entire time, okay?" Because she needs to be sure he's okay.

Johnny mouthed sorry to Gwen. He was just holding himself together literally. Knife wounds hurt like a bitch especially stabbed in the right place and it was on his side so that wasn't good at all. He didn't want Gwen blaming herself or worried about him, it wasn't anyone's fault but those robbers. They were dangerous men and she took them down he could've been worse honestly.

"I really hate going to the hospital. I'll go though.." he sighed a little, he should get checked out. The blood was a lot and he didn't want Gwen worried about him at all. "Will you be? I really don't want to go alone." he said honestly, he wanted someone to be with him and he placed his bloody hand back on the wound. It was going to be a lot of fun to get cleaned up later on. "I'm sorry Gwen." he apologized for getting hurt, maybe he wasn't fast or strong enough like he thought he was.

"You're stuck with me, Johnny Lawrence," Gwen says with a flirty smirk, putting her hand in his and squeezing ever so gently. Leaning her forehead against his shoulder, she closes her eyes when he apologizes and wraps her free arm around his waist, just to hold him. She's careful to avoid the bleeding injury.

Looking up at him again, she kisses him briefly. Just a soft press of her lips against his.

"No apologizing. The ambulance is here," she says, the sound of the ambulance coming up the road, loud sirens and all. "We'll get that looked at and then go back to my apartment to watch a movie. We can get you moved into your friends place when you're feeling better. Okay?"

With that, they're escorted to the ambulance and Gwen does her best to stay out of peoples way while they're checking Johnny over. She manages to look towards the police cars and, spotting the crooks getting handcuffed and shoved into the waiting police cars.

She may or may not have the same smirk on her face she wore in high school that quite clearly said 'go fuck yourself.' At least, for once, it wasn't directed at any of the Cobras. Just at the would-be thieves.

Johnny smiled brightly at her. They made a great couple and he liked that she was there for him right now when nobody else was. He squeezed her hand in his, and took a deep breath to calm down a bit. "Glad that I am stuck with you Gwen believe me." He couldn't have asked for a better girlfriend and he just hoped the blood wouldn't make him pass out.

He kissed her back, not caring that anyone else saw them kissing. "A movie night sounds great. Yeah my friend will understand when I tell him what happened. He probably won't believe me anyways when I tell him about the robbery." He shrugged his arms gently and winced a bit, he shouldn't have done that probably.

He should've kept his bow and arrows close by, but he couldn't let his mother or Sid find out who he really was. He loved saving people and he probably should tell Gwen at some point but maybe she knows who he is. Being a hero was hard sometimes since you can't always be in two places at once.

Gwen had bows and arrows on her mind, too, glancing up towards passing rooftops as the ambulance rolled down the street. The sirens were loud and she winces a bit at the sound, super-hearing making this just a bit of a nightmare for her. But she keeps that to herself and instead lets the EMTs check her boyfriend over.

From what Gwen can tell, he might need some stitches.

She looks out the window again and at the roofs, frowning a bit before looking at Johnny again. She wasn't the only hero in town and sort of had hoped the other guy'd show up, but he didn't. She never even got the chance to talk to the other guy. He kept a good distance away, even when they managed to work together, so she never got a name or even a look at their face.

Oh, well. Her boyfriend was safe and if Gwen flirted with him a bit to keep him smiling, so be it.

"Okay so...hospital to get you checked out. My apartment for movies. What else? I feel like there should be some kissing involved? But you're the injured one. That's up to you." Joking to lighten the mood? You betcha.

Johnny had a lot to tell Gwen once they left the hospital. He helped her out a few times when he was in his Green suit. He never really spoke to her but when he had to he threw his voice off so she wouldn't know who he was. However, he wouldn't have killed the robbers that robbed his house with his arrows. He fought really hard though and he wondered if she could tell. That's why he wasn't upset when she said who he was.

"Hey being injured won't stop me from kissing you. I feel like when you're watching movies kissing has to be involved." he smiled a bit, he wasn't that good at flirting usually but he did try. If he had to have stitches he worried that he was going to have a problem fighting but he'd figure it out when the time comes. Gwen could even help him, they made a great team when they did work together.

"Hmm maybe a lot of cuddling during the movie?" he enjoyed that during a movie to, holding someone close while watching a movie. "We could also eat popcorn." He also wouldn't mind staying the night at Gwen's but he didn't want to just bring that up.

"As much cuddling and kissing as you want," Gwen says, kissing his forehead and running fingers through his hair. "And all the popcorn. I think. I don't remember if I actually have any. But we can absolutely get some from the corner store near me."

Okay. Good. They were planning another date. That was fine. That meant he was fine and that they were fine. Soon enough, they reach the hospital. Frustratingly enough, Gwen's told she has to wait for Johnny to be checked over and patched up. And while it doesn't take more than an hour, Gwen's a ball of anxiety in the waiting room. She paces, buys herself a pack of potato chips and a soda that she doesn't eat or drink, watches whatever's playing on the TV and when she's finally let back, once Johnny is all patched up, she heads to the room and carefully wraps her arms around him.

"Hey, gorgeous. What'd they say? How bad is it?"

"As much as I want. Well we're going to be doing a lot of kissing then." he smiled at her he was putting on a brave face even though he was in a bit of pain which he hoped was going to be over soon. "Okay that sounds really good. We'll have a nice time tonight." he was thankful that she was at least trying to give him a distraction for later on.

It took a damn hour to do an X-ray and to stitch him up. The stitches hurt but he was going to be okay, especially since they gave him medication to take home with him. Hearing Gwen come back he smiled and sighed in relief thankful that she didn't leave.

He was putting on his shirt again when she entered the room and hugged her back. "Hey beautiful. I'm doing okay. I had to get stitches and my rib is broken but they said that will heal. I can actually leave now." He looked around nervously over his shoulder's he didn't want anyone to overhear them. "I need to tell you and show you something when we leave here." he was serious but he was also nervous even though Gwen told him who she really was. Now it was his turn.

"Jesus," Gwen says, easing her hold on Johnny and looking up at him with concern. "We should just rest when we get home, then. Turn on the TV and try to fall asleep. You can stay with me. You can call your roommate when we get to my place, let him know where we are. You can tell him when you'll be able to drop your stuff off."

But for now, he needs rest. Putting her hand in his, she laces their fingers together with a soft sigh, looking at him apologetically. And then with some confusion with what he says.

The tone in his voice is worrying, as is the way he looks around. What's he hiding, and how worried should she be?

"Yeah. Let me just call a cab. No one's out front. We can talk there, if you want."

And Gwen leads him out of the room and down the hall, stopping long enough at reception to call for a cab before heading outside.

"I'll be okay to watch movies and make out with you then. We don't need to worry about that." He playfully teased, he'd be fine and he'd still be resting. "Really? I can stay with you? That just made my night a whole lot better. I'll call him it's just Bobby and he won't mind when I show up." He shrugged, he was with Gwen and Bobby knew Gwen would take care of him right now at least.

"Gwen you did an amazing job tonight. It was me that should've done better especially if I had what I needed." He really hoped Gwen wouldn't hate him when he told her who he really was, he took a deep breath." he squeezed her hand and winced when he got up but that would heal in time, he just hoped that he could still do his job.

"Sounds like a good idea to me." He said and he walked outside with her after she called a cab. It was now or never. "Well.. do you remember ever fighting with a guy in a green suit.. and he has a bow and arrow." he looked at her and hoped that she'd connect the dots herself. If not then he'd spill the beans about him being the other hero in town.

Thank God Gwen isn't dumb. The second he asks if she knows the guy in green, she connects the dots as best as possible. Glancing around for a second to make sure they're not within earshot of anyone, she looks at Johnny again.

"That's you." Statement, not a question. She's shocked into silence for a moment, watching Johnny for any sign he's joking, but can't detect anything.

"That's you?" Now, it's a question. "What?" She believes him, it's just really wild to think about.

"Yes that is me. It's hard to explain how I actually got into crime fighting but I guess it all started once I left Cobra Kai." He knew he wanted to help others, he wanted to save this city from destruction. Sure.. he saved other cities to if he read about things in the newspaper and that's how even fought alongside Gwen a few times without realizing it was her until a few hours ago.

He wouldn't be joking about something like this. He was proud at what he does and he needed to show Gwen everything. They just needed to make sure that the cab driver wouldn't take off on them. Not a lot of payphones around.

"I'm going to show you everything when the cab gets here. I have to hide my suit and arrows somewhere else. If I hid them at home and my mom and Sid found them it wouldn't be good at all." he knew they wouldn't be followed and he trusted Gwen one hundred percent he had to tell her especially since she told him about herself.

"I was bitten by a radioactive spider. That's...pretty much the explanation," Gwen states. She'd say more but the cab rolls up and the driver honks the horn to get their attention. Standing and heading to the cab, Gwen's mind is racing, but her focus is on Johnny, making sure he's comfortable in the cab before she gives the driver directions and settles in beside her boyfriend.

It's not the shortest drive to her apartment so Gwen, leaning gently on Johnny's shoulder, drifts off just a bit. She feels alright. Happy. Safe with her boyfriend.

When they pull up to her apartment, Gwen wakes up some and apologizes, paying the cab driver and getting out of the cab, holding her hand out for Johnny's.

"I think the best thing we can do right now is sleep. Tomorrow, we can talk hero stuff. I'm kinda worn out."

"I wasn't bitten by anything. My hero instincts just came to me. I trained myself with the bow and arrows.. and thankfully I've gotten pretty good at it." he wanted to say more as well but since the cab driver showed up he remained silent. Getting into the cab hurt a lot but once he was inside it was pretty comfortable here, which was a good thing.

He could fall asleep as well but he wanted to remain alert. That was the hero side of him always keeping an eye on everything, he didn't want anyone attacking their cab for some odd reason. He was safe with Gwen to but he just wanted to make sure they were both safe.

He took Gwen's hand in his and slowly got out of the cab. Wincing slightly. "That sounds like a good idea. I really do need the sleep and tomorrow I'll show you everything about me." he said as they walked to Gwen's apartment together. "Speaking of.. is your suit safe at my place?" he asked once they were inside of Gwen's apartment.

Gwen's apartment was pretty much perfect for her. Since leaving Mr Miyagi's house and striking out on her own, she's been able to find ways to afford the small studio in Reseda. And it was close to the dance academy she'd been attending, not to mention close to her dads Little Tree shop and she can get to her bands shows, small time as they were.

Turning to look at Johnny, she smiles just a bit. "This is gonna sound awful, but Sid spends so much time looking down his nose at people, I'm not sure he'd notice one of the ceiling panels in your room is moved just a bit. I'll get it another day. Go make your phone calls, I'm going to get a shower and get ready for bed." Another quick kiss and Gwen heads to the bathroom in her apartment, stopping long enough to grab her pajamas off the dresser.

He really liked Gwen's apartment. He's been here once or twice before and he could see himself living in a place like this himself. He didn't like the fancy shit at Sid's place even though his mother adored it. He usually wanted things simple.

"It doesn't sound awful.. and I really don't think Sid would even look in my room to be honest." he shrugged his arm, his mother might look but she didn't really ask a lot of questions which was a good thing. He kissed her back. "Okay.. I'll be here when you get out." He walked over to her phone and dialed Bobby. He was the one he was living with after all, he just hoped Bobby wouldn't get too upset that he couldn't come right away. He told him what happened and his friend was worried but he said he was going to be okay he was with Gwen.

He then made a call to his mother hoping she wasn't freaking out. He told her what happened to him and where he was and she calmed down a bit. "Yes I'll be fine. Love you mom and we'll talk more tomorrow." he said and hung up the phone. He figured Bobby would tell his other friends what happened, so he decided not to call anyone else and sat on Gwen's couch waiting for her.

Gwen's good at taking fast showers, so she's out in about ten minutes. Dressed in a black tank top and matching pajama pants, just finishing running a brush through her still wet hair. Setting that aside, she heads over to Johnny and climbs into his lap. There's enough room on the couch for her to sit next to him, but she's tired. And being tired, she just wants to e held for a bit.

"Make your phone calls?" she asks once she's settled. She's curled up against his chest, listening to his heartbeat and looking up at him.

Johnny smiled when Gwen came to the couch to join him. He wrapped his arms around her waist when she sat down, it was comfortable being in this position with her. He was also exhausted and worn out.. tonight was hard on him without his weapons. But, he had to pretend to be just a regular civilian. He couldn't give himself away just yet.

"Yes. I made my phone calls. I called Bobby and my mother. That way they know where I am." He was happy that he could be here with Gwen tonight though, he wouldn't want to be anywhere else. "I really like your place.. it's small and comfortable." he didn't mean small to be mean either he hoped that she'd understand that. He liked that it was small.

"Yeah, it's pretty perfect," Gwen states. She didn't think he was being mean with what he said. He was being honest. She always thought his step-dads place was too big. Too flashy. She will never understand having that much money and having to show it off. She could end up a millionaire somehow, but give her a small town house for herself and whoever else and she's happy.

"And how about you? I'm not leaning on any injuries, am I? I'll move if you want me to."

He hated having a huge living space. The only good thing was that when Sid became really abusive towards him he could hide easily. He never really told anyone that before and he probably wouldn't even tell Gwen that unless she asked him, it took him awhile to even tell Bobby. His best friend finally got it out of him.

"You're fine. You're not leaning on anything. They gave me some pain medication." he sighed a little he didn't like being in pain especially with what he does for a living. "No. Please don't move I find it rather comfortably with you laying on me." He smiled and ran his fingers through her blonde hair gently.

Well, if these two ever decide to share a place, they know what they'd be comfortable in and it just happens to be the same thing. A small apartment, perfect for the two of them. Cuddling against Johnny again, she closes her eyes and smiles softly, tilting her head into his hand as he runs his fingers through her hair.

"That's going to put me to sleep, just so you know," Gwen says quietly, smirking just a bit.

"I can always stop running my fingers through your hair. I was going to turn the TV on just for a little bit. That actually helps me fall asleep quicker. Though.. I think my injuries won't let me sleep that well tonight but I am going to try." he just hoped that he wouldn't be in a lot of pain, he did have a broken rib but the medication that was given to him was still running through his system.

He was still thankful that Gwen showed up to help him tonight otherwise he would've been in serious danger. He probably could've handled the situation but he would've been in bad shape afterwards. He knew that at some point he would need to try and sleep he just wasn't sure if he could just yet.

"No, no stopping," Gwen says, curling against him and smiling a bit. Shifting enough to kiss him briefly, she shrugs a bit.

"Go for it. It won't keep me awake," Gwen says, moving to sit on the couch beside him. "I'll stay up with you for a bit."

She's not really all that exhausted. She doesn't really get exhausted easily. So it might be a bit before she's out, herself.

"I'm really glad you're okay."

Johnny kissed her back and smiled a bit. He just hoped he could heal so he'd be able to do what he loved. He loved crime fighting and helping people but if he was injured he wasn't going to be able to do that for a few days at least. "Alright I won't stop. I like running my fingers through your hair." He said and still ran fingers through Gwen's hair gently making soft humming sounds.

He was starting to fall asleep himself even after turning the TV on. "If you want to. I don't want to keep you awake Gwen. I can fall asleep easily right now myself." Fighting with robbers and then getting injured really wore him out and his adrenaline is finally wearing off. He might have to take another pain killer though to help him sleep.

"I'll always be okay. I'm just glad you're not mad at me for keeping my identity secret for so long.." he was getting worn out and he knew his body was telling him he needed to sleep .
