"Just tired?" That's about as much poking as Gwen is going to do. She wants to know how he's doing, what with putting Steve's shield to rest. So she knows there's much more to 'tired' than he wants to let on. She will not ever understand why adults try to play off that kind of thing, especially ones she's supposed to look up to and learn from.

"He's good. We're going to be playing 'Among Us' later on and then watch something on Netflix." A shrug and a smile that absolutely tells of just how much she's looking forward to spending time with Peter. Welcome to dating in the twenty first century, or something.

Sam huffs a little laugh when she asks if he's just tired. They both know that she knows him better than that.

"Aren't you supposed to be in that self involved teenage period of your life?" He asks, giving her a small grin. Still, he takes the question as an invitation and moves inside the door, sitting on the corner of the bed. He sighs, looking down at his hands. "I did what I thought was right, Gwen. I know Steve gave me that shield, but Captain America... that's not who I am."

He looks over at her, ready to change the subject if she wants to. "I bet he did. He say when he's coming out here to visit?"
